Turning to far to one side
Hello Guys, I have a 2002 TXT that is turning to far to the right and not far enough to the left. I have searched for a solution with no luck. Is there a way to adjust this?

Re: Turning to far to one side
That's fairly common with lifted carts as the trajectory of all the front end parts changes rather drastically with the lift procedure ... Start by playing with the adjustment on your connecting arm that runs from the main steering post to the passenger side of the front end, generally that will give you the adjustment you need to get it *much* closer if not perfect. Also not a bad idea when you're done to adjust the toe-in (especially if you're lifted) - the front ends on these carts can be a little finicky to dial in *just right* but once they're set they usually stay that way

Re: Turning to far to one side
First look to see if you have both stops on your spindles. If that looks fine, point the tires in the straight ahead direction and then count the number of turns of the steering wheel it takes to go all the way to the left then do the same thing to the right and see if they are the same. If not, find the center point of the turning radius then you can adjust the two tie rod ends until the tires both point forward but you will probably have to remove the steering wheel when you are done and re-center it. Remember when you are done the toe in needs to be about 1/8 to 1/4 inch closer in the front of the tires than in the back.

Re: Turning to far to one side
If you installed a drop axle lift, you will have to adjust the single tie rod between the steering rack and steering knuckle to lengthen it. If no lift was installed but rack replaced or serviced,it will still need adjusting.
