Re: Help with 04 Yamaha ft end?
I say again, the toe is paramount here. If its not set at around an eighth inch, it could be causing the whole problem.

Re: Help with 04 Yamaha ft end?
Can you help me to check the toe in while the camber is off so far? With antique cars we usually just carefully use a tape measure and measure the distance on the inside of the rim both on the front and back of the front wheels and allow aprox 1/8" toe for a 24" rim. I have 8" rims and they probably should be almost exact but with all the camber that is much more difficult to acertain. Any ideas?

Re: Help with 04 Yamaha ft end?
You measure at spindle height. roll the car forward 15 feet. then get a piece of 1x2, 24 inchs long. Hold it against the bead area of the rim (spindle hight) , then measure the last few inches with a tape. Then do the same behind (spindle height). One eighth inch less in front than in back. Drive the car, then measure again. If its as extreme as you say, it may take a couple times.
