G1 clutch
Got my 81 g1 running great,but one problem the clutch isnt ingageing the belt, its not moving at all, without the belt on to, does the weghts go on a certain way? Any help would be great, it runs great with new top end, its like real high rpms without the clutch not working . Thanks

The weights push the clutch closed and force the belt up to the top. You need to repair that one or buy a new one. Depends on what you have if you can get parts, some of the original G1 clutch parts are not available.

hello sho, i fixed my clutch, the circlip came off and the spring was longer on this clutch so i used the old one, runs great , like new, thanks
