Yamaha Gas Cart
Meeting up with a person tomorrow to look at a Yamaha gas cart. Guy didn't know the model, but I'll determine that when once I get the serial number. This is how the guy described it to me: "It is missing a starter/generator , carburetor and has a bad front spindle. Body is in good shape and has compression."
For me he used the term "get rid of", so hoping to go there and get it for little to nothing. Worst part is I'm a Yamaha fan (ATVs) and I've wanted a gas cart, but couldn't turn down the electric CC I got for free. |

Re: Yamaha Gas Cart
Yep Post up some pics when you get it and tell us what your plans are.
Get rid of to me would mean get you to haul it away. But, sometimes that's wishful thinking on my part. |

Re: Yamaha Gas Cart
Went look at lunch time and the tag shows it to be a 2005 G22A. Didn't have time to look for the serial number, but it is stretched and has a 2nd seat. Tires are 23", so does that mean it is currently lifted? Would this setup be factory in any way?
Guy in fact does want to get rid of it for free, so I told him I want it. :) |

Re: Yamaha Gas Cart
yep, we took a ride on his electric EZGO to the back of his property. As soon as I seen it sitting under a truck bed liner, the dollar signs started dropping. Then I seen 2005 and my eyes got big.
Anybody know anything about the body style? Is it normal or available from the factory to be stretched and rolling on 23"? There are a set of tires on the cart and then another set that were sitting on the floorboard. The intake at the carb has a wrag stuffed in it, so that was a good thing. |

Re: Yamaha Gas Cart
Good score Don't know if the spindle lift is from the factory, but it may be a factory limo. It looks very well done. Nice project.

Re: Yamaha Gas Cart
Started pricing the starter/generator and carb. Looks like $200 for the s/g and $100 for the carb.
