New to me 2010 Yamaha Drive JW2-308#####
So I picked this cart up today. US batteries. Looking for help on the mods.
Looking for good set of fewer flares. Looking for a factory extended rooftop. Looking to see how i can make the electric motor/cart go faster. Brake light kit. |

How fast is it now? It can go 19mph or faster with factory PTV speed code (cheaper option), or a upgrade controller will give huge power & speed benefits (better option for your wheels & tires).

We do about 14-15 MPH based on a cell GPS app (iPhone), even with the rims.
Does the PTV code damage the motor at all? |

The ptv code is a yamaha authorized modification. Your dealer orders the unique code for your controller, then installs it in your controller with their diagnostic/programming equipment. The dealer is the only way to get it. If it fried your motor, they wouldnt sell many due to warranty issues.
