If your like me, the best yamaha for a swap is the best condition one you can get for the least layout of $$$.

Of course not everyone can do the fab work or has the tools to do it either. I can do it and have all the tools I need to do the work.

The G2, 9, and 14 have a rear end that's been described as indestructible and bullet proof. I have no first hand knowledge of them.

The G16 and 22 have a Dana rear.

All are great candidates.

I keep finding ugly ones with plastic up the sides. sounds like yamahas are the all around best for vanguard swaps?

The Yamaha's have the best frame and suspension. Best all around cart. Engine compartment is decent and a Vanguard will fit with a lift and engine cradle.

EZGO TXT is the easiest to put a big block in due to the size of the engine compartment. The suspensions suck though and you'll want to upgrade.

Club Car are alum frame and are expensive to modify and have small engine compartment. Prob the most expensive cart too.
