Limo advice needed
I have been on the hunt for a limo for about 2 years. I found a place that has 2 of these for $3500. Both gas and supposedly run nicely. From what I have found this seems like a good price on the gas limo. My question is, how do these compare to ezgo and CC limos? I see a lot of sagging ezgo and very solid looking club cars. The plan would be to lift and customize but want a good base to start with.

Re: Limo advice needed
From hat I have seen, all Yamaha limos are factory made not kits. I like this as some of the ones I have seen that were stretched with a kit are sagging or loose in the middle. The Yamaha tube frame is very strong and I like it

Plus, the factory limos typically have added reinforcements on the frame, as do Umax's.

Re: Limo advice needed
Well, got some more info on the limo which may explain the price. They are 2003 models that have been stretched, not factory limos, and have the little 9hp engine. Bodies are also not factory black but white under black paint that is starting to peel.

Re: Limo advice needed
Make sure you know how much it is to make your own, if you have to beef up the frame you might as well make your own. I too would like one but my list is way too long lol. Figure I would just weld one up as I'd put a LT front on it and 25s minimum, BB engine, etc.
Far as what one is worth it seems to depend on the area you are in. I've seen people pay 1200 for an old 2 stroke cart I think they are crazy, but likely don't know they are 30yr old clapped out thing I'm not sure. |

Re: Limo advice needed
I'm curious if this engine has enough power to move the cart if lifted and with 23" tires. I am curious to find out from the folks if it really has the 9hp engine or the 11hp one. I am going to ask them to get the numbers off the block for me tomorrow. Anyone know if the 9hp will be enough power to move this loaded down with 6-7 people? I wouldn't want to go much over 16-20mph if possible, maybe by adding some of plowmans stuff.
