Resistor Coil Missing
I’m a bit of a newbie with working on golf carts. We found a 2000 Club Car DS and I’ve been working on rebuilding it. I noticed that there are two wires near the controller, and I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to go to the resistor, which is missing.
Does this model need to have this or can something else be done instead? Thank you in advance |

Re: Resistor Coil Missing
Don't have enough details about the cart to say.
Does this cart has a small rocker switch for FnR, and a Tow/Run switch under the seat? If so it should have two solenoids, one on the driver side and one on the passenger side. The one on the drivers side would be the dynamic brake solenoid and would have a resistor oil on it. That one does not have to be there for the cart to work. But the big cables that went to the solenoid have to be connected together. |
