windshield hinge fell off
1999 Club Car DS
Bought cart in June and it was sitting for a few years in neighbors garage. Went to lower the top part and the hinge fell off both top and bottom parts. What kind of glue is used to attach the hinge back on the windshield? |

Try this. I’ve seen someone post the tape/glue on style before as well. If it’s still in one piece you could maybe use glue or epoxy and re-glue it but that sounds messy |

These "living hinges" often fail over time. A good replacement hinge would be the way to go. I would try that Ebay one.

These come on some new windshields..Put the windshield back in the hinge..Drill through it in a few places and put them in..They are called Chicago screws...

The usual failure I have seen is that the flexible part fails so you can't just put it back on the windshield.

My windshield is only 5/32 thick so I don't think the 1/4 inch hinge will stay on. I am going to try 3m 4950 tape & see if it works Might use the screw sets also. Will let you know the results Tape is coming tomorrow

You can get new hinges, link courtesy of Swan:
