Default I lost all accessories but the motor still runs.

Gradually my lights radio etc. started turning on and off like a loose connection until finally it all died. But the motor still runs. All cables on the batteries are tight. Is there a main ground somewhere I can check? Where should I start?

I would do a continuity check on you ground wire leaving from the battery, or do you have a reducer in place? Any more detail about your cart would be helpful.

I have a 2005 humdinger on a club car chassis. It uses a 48 volt system. I don't know what motor it has .

sounds like you may have a voltage reducer that went bad, you need to verify if you have a voltage reducer that attached to the main pack with the accessories going to it. Follow the power wires from lights or radio and see if they are going directly to the battery pack or if they are going to a reducer.

Cool Re: I lost all accessories but the motor still runs.

look on frame rail behind #6 battery drivers side rear of cart it should be a black box with just a few wires coming from it...........................follow those wires depending on who did the install you might find one wire that goes to controller and another to ground or a fibre strip with prongs that you can mount other wire to.............you might just have a bad main groundwire but i would start with the reducer if it has one............if you have coming off batteries and running all over the place start with the radio or lights and start tracing wires and looking for inline fuses...........................

My neighbor had an inverter installed to power his accessories. His cart runs on a 36 volt system. Any suggestions on the best way to power the accessories with a 48 volt system. I may change what I have now.

OK Boys here is where I'm at. My converter from 48 to 12 volts is where the problem is. It's not the converter it's the terminals on the end of the wires that plug into the output side. Can these terminals be purchased? HELP! I'm going camping on wednesday, they make contact but sometimes I hit a bump and they go out.

I played with the connections today and everything seemed fine. All the local suppliers want to sell me a new voltage reducer. If and when that time comes any suggestions to what type?
