The turn signal head is no longer available from yamaha, and likely never will be again. Thats a caveat of owning a sunclassic, the parts are getting scarce.

Thanks cg. I wandered into this thread and remembered that I had just recently seen this one which was close to my wife's G3, and thought I'd just post it up.

Your description makes it obvious that it's not a G3, so thanks.

Wow! That is probably the nicest Sun Classic I have seen.

The Sun Classic is on my wish list for my vintage cart collection. I had a chance to grab one locally a couple of years ago but the owner was convinced he had something that was worth a ton of dough. He wanted $2500 which would have been ok except that it was ratty (torn seats, cracked windshield, rough body, rotted tires). If it looked like yours I would have paid his asking plus some.

Did these come in electric as well? I could have swore that the one I looked at had old batteries that needed replaced but I have bought a lot of carts over the years and my memory might be jumbled.

All sunclassic could be had in gas or electric.

I thought so but wasn't sure. The one I looked at had no batteries whatsoever. No cores. The $2500 rat's nest would have easily ended up at closer to $5000 the way I like to do it up.
