So I figured I had nothing to lose by putting the old Alltrax 300 in, and when I did, the cart tried to go, but only in reverse no matter what direction the lever was in. Maybe something internal in that controller? I don't like the forward reverse mechanism in that cart. Can I replace it with a rocker switch? I would like to try one from a Precedent. Let me know if anyone has tried. Thanks, and I will be ordering ScottyB' s Alltrax 400 kit.

Yes, a DPDT switch has six terminals.
The CC Precedent F/R switch is a DP/DT switch. I'm not sure if the terminals are labeled 1 thru 6 as shown in the drawing, but the physical layout is the same. Here are some pictures of another forum member's cart using an off the shelf DP/DT toggle switch. |

The Precedent switch only has 3 terminals
