Default 2013 EZGO RXV seat/rear roof bracket

Hi, I have a 13 RXV and have found that the rear roof and seat support brackets that mount to the frame with 3 bolts on each side are missing some bolts due to the nut that is inside the frame from the factory breaking loose. There is no way to replace the nut without having to drill through the opposite side of frame or top of frame and I am worried about weakening the frame by doing that. Will I jeopardize the frame strength by drilling through the frame ? The hole would need to be about 5/8" . Any input or suggestions is appreciated. Thanks

Look for a Rivet Nut that fits the existing hole that the original nut came out of. As the name implies, they attach into the hole like a rivet. You can search eBay... Try to find one with the original metric thread so that you can use the original bolt. You'll need the right sized rivet nut tool as well to install it. I bought rivet nut sets and rivet nut tools years ago.
