Please post pictures of cart. Profile, head on, rear and showing F/R switch.

You've got a SepEx controller and except for the DCS cart, they have a F/R switch on the dash.

Okay, you probably have a 2014 TXT-48, but a Curtis 1206HB-5201 was used with several body styles.

Here is a manual for a Curtis 1268.

The 5,2 error code means open coil on solenoid, wires to coil not connected.

Just noticed yellow and blue wire in picture of solenoid are not connected.
That would give you the 5,2 error.

They were connected at the time of error. Was testing them, and didn't hook back up.

This error is shown with them hooked up. I'm assuming yellow should have power and blue is the ground?

At what point should power be available on yellow?

1. Yellow is B+ and Blue is B-. (Electric golf carts are not grounded electrical systems)

2. I don't have a schematic for a 1268 installed in a TXT-48. but from what I see in the Curtis manual, all that is needed to get B+ on the yellow wire is Run/Tow switch in Run and Keyswitch ON.

So checked the presence of B+ on yellow and B- on Blue with power probe.
both show - .
Can manually activate the solenoid with the power probe
Verified power at the Run/Tow switch.
Cant seem to find a solid schematic to show the TXT either.
will start pulling loom, and back tracing the wire.

Here is a schematic for a stock TXT-48 with the solenoid activation circuit highlighted.

Also, manual for TXT-48.

Glad to hear you got it going.

I was wrong about it being a TXT-48, it appears to be an Express S4. For the most part, it is just a different body style and the TXT-48 service manual will cover it. Stock tire height is different (20" tall vs 18" tall for the TXT) and it has 14.76:1 gears instead of 12.44:1.

Here is an Owner manual.
