I tried to call carts Unlimited but unfortunately their phone number is no longer in service. Does anyone have a current phone number?

SHOOT HIM A PM OR E-MAIL.....he spent so much time on the phone a while back, he had to turn off his business phone off and do it all via email. He told everyone here about this. once you actually get ahold of him....which he answers PM's and E-Mails REGULARLY....so you won't have to wait long.

Could I do just the motor for now to achieve more speed but not sacrifice a lot of torque and change the other components as funds come available

actually, what you need to do first is the controller, solenoid, cables, and HD f&r. for if you do the motor first, especially with your cart being lifted and with big tires, it will most likely overload your stock controller and the rest of the drive system.

btw....make sure Scotty knows that your cart is lifted and the sixe of the tires you are running.

I am going through Carts Unlimited now. I sent him an email and he sent back a list of questions. I answered them and he has been very informative and I have started getting my parts today. I have a limo 2003 EZGO TXT series cart and will essentially be doing the same thing as you. I wanted more speed, but some batteries in my 36 v battery pack went bad, so I figured now is the time to do it.
