Default Input shaft identification

I recently purchased an alltrax controller and a motor. I went to install the motor and it wouldn't slide deep enough on the shaft I guess the shaft has a pilot shaft or snout on it. I called the company and they said they haven't seen that before so I sent them pictures and I guess they are doing research. Does anyone know what I have?

Industrial axle. Like one of the biggest shuttles or something like that. This is usually found on models with the HD hydraulic brakes.

Yep, but be sure to grind the end flat & far enough to allow full engagement with the rubber bumper you should be adding. And leave a little bevel at the end of the splines.

Yamaha part number for it is JH7-H1829-00-00. I don't know the Ezgo part number.
