Default Windshield for TXT with 80" roof?

Hey there,

Looking for options for a new windshield to use on my 2000 TXT.
I just put the 80" roof on it today.
But, now when I installed my old windshield, I realized it is quite a bit short.
It was the one that I had used with the OEM
struts for the 54" roof.

Did you get different front support struts (windshield frame) for the 80" top? Usually the old frame from the stock short top is re-used. What bracket(s) did you use to mount the top to the support strut assembly? There will always be some gap at the top of the windshield, sometimes a bit more than there was with the stock top, necessary to clear the overhang of the long top when moving the top half of the windshield up or down.

I did get the taller front frame and rear struts with the 80" beige top.
I used to have about a 1" gap between the top. Now it is about 3-4".
I ended up finding the part #74910G02. Just ordered the OEM split windshield for $148.00 shipped.
I ended up getting the whole OEM 80" canopy setup, like new, for $215.00 with tax.

**** it's tall with the new roof.
With my lift, I'm at 84"
Luckily, my enclosed trailer has an 80" rear opening.
At least I can clear it, by taking the canopy off, and leaving the struts bolted to the cart.
