Default Replaced TXT PDS solenoid and now reverse is faster then forward

I installed a heavy duty solenoid on my 2010 TXT PDS and now forward and reverse are backward. Forward goes 5 mph and reverse goes 18. I had to remove all power wires to the controller and thought I put them back correctly. Sounds like I have a cable reversed. Any help would be appreciated.

If the directional selector is also reversed then simply swapping F1 and F2 wires at the controller will fix it.

Tried that and it just reversed the switch. After reading previous post with this condition it sounds like my S1 and S2 wires are reversed. Can not tell what wires they are on the pds wiring diagram. Can anyone tell me were S1 and S2 wires are located?

F1 and F2, white and black 10 gauge wires on the top passenger side of the controller if it is stock.

Unplugged the orange wire from the F/R switch. Went fast in forward and reverse. Turned off and restarted and slow in forward again. If it switch to reverse them move a little then back to forward it is fast again.

You sure this isn’t a series cart? If you unplug the orange wire from the fnr switch reverse won’t work. Where is your fnr switch and is it a handle or push button

Now the cart goes slow in forward and reverse. Could the solenoid be bad?

Found the problem. The B+ cable coming off the controller was connected to the wrong side of the solenoid. I had it connected to the side were the positive battery wire connects.

I think the controller detected that problem as a welded solenoid and was running in limp mode.
Does it run correctly now like forward normal and revers slow?
If it does I think you got it!

Not sure why this was causing fast reverse and slow forward in the first place.
Seems like it would be in limp mode no matter which direction you had it in.
Maybe you had the controller or motor wires swapped as was suggested.
I am not an expert!
