Default Brakes hang up

Rxv 48 volt golf cart 2008. Brakes seem to hang up. When you release the accelerator it comes to a sudden stop. I wondering if this is a common controller problem.

Look on the end of the motor and see if the brake has a handle on it. If so your going to need a new brake soon.

Do not put an HD brake on a RXV with a Danaher controller.

It does have a handle but the disk looks good.

Also see if you got the upgraded solenoid (larger, says 'thrombetta' or something on it, and is round looking) and not the teeny little one that's hardwired.
