Default Accusense charger stoped working

Hello to all I have a accusense charger model number 1-36018-04.
Has worked perfectly for 7 months. Now when plugged into ac the light next to ac input is green but no lights on front. When plugged into ac and the battery pack detection light blinks 3 times then a fourth time with power light then goes off and charging light starts blinking while power light just stays on.
Anyone had this problem before?
Thank you for your time and information.

I had something similar happen to mine. I thought it was defective but upon closer inspection, it turns out the AC plug wasn't pushed in all the way on the back of the charger. It likely pulled loose when I was moving the charger while plugged into wall. I reseated the plug in the back and away she went. Maybe not your issue but check it out just in case.

If you go to DPI website and download the tech manual it explains all of the error codes and what they mean.

Have you had a lightening storm lately. It got mine several years ago. If I hear thunder, I unplug it.

Is this a gen4 with the twist lock front plug ? What you describe is the exact same thing mine just did and in my case the problem was a bad connection in the front plug/socket. If I twisted it the connection would make up and it would start charging. Waiting on DPI to send me a new cord and socket now.

You might as well call DPI. Sounds like mine. I'm supposed to get mine back today. they had to replace the board. Good Luck my charger has been gone 4 weeks. There customer service sucks.

Sending it in for repair is not an option. I’m in Costa Rica.

I simply bought a board. No need to send in a HEAVY transformer, that's likely just fine.

My wife and I planned on ultimately retiring in Honduras, after pension, SS, and investments run out. Honduras is out of the question for now, so Costa Rica is prolly our home, 10 - 20 years from now. Wife's got family there.

PM me, please.
