Default Opinions 2011 Rxv

Looking at an electric 2011 Rxv. 4 12 volt batteries.

Looking for opinions on how the car would do on a hilly golf course.

The RXV does very well on hilly courses.

I have a 2011 RXV that I use on a course with rolling hills. It climbs the hills with no problem. My 12 Volt US Batteries are five years old and I can still play 36 holes without going below 50% charge. The automatic parking brake works great for golf but it can be a trouble spot.

For your basic question, it will do great on hills, better than most any others. But, a Danaher Rxv with 12v batteries is one I would personally avoid. That controller/ wire harness is no longer well supported with parts by ezgo. And that harness is prone to corrosion problems. You might get a winner that runs great for years, or might get someone else's problem child to deal with. The parts aren't cheap, and the expensive diagnostic hardware is the best way to avoid throwing $ parts at any problem. Nope, not for me. I have that expensive diagnostic stuff at my disposal, and I wouldn't want one of those for myself. I'm an electronically oriented person, so I could make my own way out of those problems if I had to. If you aren't, just get a 2012.5 or newer RVX, it's a much better setup, and it's equally great on hills.
