Either your batteries or the charger are bad. You should be seeing 38.2 volts on new batteries. Are you sure it's only a one year warranty? Most are several years, with the latter part as a prorated, based on age.

If you have Trojan brand batteries or clones the SoC are as follows:

Before running the cart: (Hopefully this was several hours after charger shut off)
Across battery terminals= 37.6 V = 83%
battery 1 =6.33v = 94%
battery 2 =6.30v = 89%
battery 3 =6.26v = 82%
battery 4 =6.22v = 75%
battery 5 =6.28v = 85%
battery 6 =6.26v = 82%

With 0.11V maximum difference between highest and lowest, your batteries appear to be fairly well matched. They are just not charged for some reason.

What does the battery pack voltage climb to before charger shuts off? Ought to be about 45V or higher, depending on charger.

I'm not 100% sure when the charger shut off, but it was for sure off when I came home from work this evening. When I say off, I'm referring to the light turning green on my charger which is supposed to indicate a full charge.

The charger is a Pro-fit 36V charger less than a month old.
The batteries are Ultra-Start 6V-CR205, BCI group size, 105RC@75 amp.

I returned the cart to charge around and hour ago. I just went out and checked the voltage while it was still charging and my meter showed 41.7V.

Pro-fit appears to be a rebranded DPI charger and Ultra-Start appears to be Rebranded Crown batteries.

The batteries are only 205AH, but they ought to charge fully.
What Mode is the Pro-Fit charger set to? (ought to be Mode-4 for Crown batteries)

I just went to check and my charger is currently set to mode 2. Also while out there, I noticed my charger is still running. I only rode the cart a matter of 10 minutes to run the tests that I posted earlier. I'm now showing 43.7 volts.

Set your charger to mode-4 (or whatever mode is for Crown batteries) and do several back-to-back charges.

As yurtle mentioned, the 18 month old batteries that were in my cart when I got it would only take about a 85% charge and after a couple weeks of starting a new charge whenever I noticed the charger cycle had completed, sometimes three or four times a day whether I used the cart or not, the batteries were charging up to 95%.

I had the batteries on float charge during the winter months and started a new charge cycle once a week, sometime more, and by the next spring the batteries were taking close to 100% charge and I got another year's use from them.

Be sure and keep a close eye on the water levels. They are going to gas a lot during back-to-back charge and may use a lot of water.

Thank you guys so much for the good info but what exactly do you mean by back to back charges? How do I start a new charge cycle if my charger is showing green?

Unplug it from the cart, then replug it. No need to unplug it from the wall. It should start charging all over again.
