Default TXT Series Keeping Batteries Charged During Restoration

Hi all,

I have been restoring a TXT Series cart. I am in process of sanding an painting the body. It is possible to keep batteries in a charged state while I work on this for the next few weeks?

Can I simply rig the charger receptacle to the positive and negative terminals without it being connected to the other components such as the forward and reverse switch?. I am replacing all the electrical components (controller, all cables, solenoid, etc.)

I have new batteries and I don't want them to discharge as I am taking my time working on the cart restore.

Thanks all!

You just need the high current loop connected to the pack and then just hook up the white and black wires from the charger receptacle. Plug in the connector and good to go. Be careful to protect the top of the pack so nothing falls on top and causes a short.

Exactly this. I do it all the time. Remember white is positive and black is negative.

I have taken the batteries out of the cart and connected them to the charger while working on the cart.
