DRLs and Lights Kit wiring on RXV?

I'm wanting to install the Madjax Ultimate LED light kit on my RXV. It includes turn signals, a voltage reducer as well as the lights, horn and harness. The manufacturer's instructions call for connecting the voltage reducer directly to the battery pack however the DRLs won't work that way as they'll always be on

My understanding is that on the RXV, wiring the voltage reducer should be through a relay on the switched side of the solenoid due to the electrical sensitivity of the RXV controller. I'm thinking about wiring it such that the DRLs will then be powered through one of the two accessory positions on the turn signal stalk. That way they will be switched with the key.

Have any of you done this on an RXV or have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a TXT, but the light kid wiring should be the similar.I just tied in a waterproof switch in the dash for my DRL's.
