What is the creaking sound in rear axle?

My electric Ezgo has has a creaking sound for several months. Can anyone tell me what it might be and whether it is difficult for a not very handy person to fix. If not, how much will a repair generally cost? Thank you.

Outer wheel bearing creak. Years ago I bought a Ezgo cart with the creaky wheel. I upgraded the drive system put on a cargo box and used it as a daily driver for 2 years before one day - the creak became a bag of square marbles on the way to the mail box.

Swapped out the bearings and away she went for years to come

Moral of the story is this. creaky wheel? Don't panic. Order bearings and seals (both sides) and fix it when you get time.

Also check those rear spring bushings.

Wheel bearings. Might as well do both sides, not like the other is much better.
