Default Solid state conversion

I have a 85 ezgo and also a 95 ezgo. Can I use the solid state electronics out of the wrecked 95 for the 85?

If the 95 is sepex you can't. I don't know when sepex motors/controllers were introduced, but your 85 is series for sure.

The 95 will have a different controller/solenoid/throttle/etc.

Is the 95 beyond repair?

It sure if the 95 is sepex or not, really dont know what that means. But it does have a alltrax controller. The 95 is not beyond repair needs batteries and motor but the 85 was free and works. Maybe just put the batteries and motor in the 95 lol

Is there a way to look up and see if the 85 motor is compatable with the 95 rear?

Take them off and see if the spline count on the shafts are the same. Always use 2 wrenches when loosening or tightening the cables on the motor.
