Scotty's customer service, supporting a site sponsor, and all of the knowledge here on BGW is worth way more than $7

i don't doubt it. You guys all speak very highly of him! I plan on getting a motor from him if it works out. I'm all about supporting.

Just a personal thing of mine. 50%+ the cost of an item to ship it hurts my brain. I bought 2 square plastic brush bolt retainers the other week and the site (someone else) wanted 14$ to ship (the 2 retainers cost $12)! I asked them to stick a $1 stamp on an envelope and put them in and mail it LOL.

$80+ on a $600 motor, no problem!

I got my meter on Amazon. It was free shipping. Meter was @$8.

My motor was shipped for $40 Ups ground. But distance will factor in.

I ended up getting the meter, and a new 2 hole plate to mount it beside the key and to look nice. Shipping isn't bad, and he had it packaged and shipped within the hour.

Last question - Would the meter just use the key switch hot/ground so the meter turns off with the key?
I wired my meter to be on all of the time so I can monitor the voltage anytime I walk by my cart, even when it's charging. There is minimal draw from the LED meter.
Another benefit that has popped up since I'm not using my cart during this pandemic is since my charger doesn't have a float mode I know when to unplug and plug back in to start a new charge cycle.
Just my .02 worth.
