The best practice is finding the same make/model battery about the same age as the existing ones, but like you said, that's unlikely.

An 8V cart battery having a run-time of 110 Minutes with a 56A load puts it in the 150AH to 160AH range, or a little less than the 170AH standard.

Personally, I'd pick up the least expensive 8V golf cart battery with 150AH (or more) I could find locally. Sam's club, Wal-Mart, Costco etc.

That new battery will quickly acquire the same aging the existing batteries have, so it'll have to be replaced at the same time as the others.
