HD F&R switch install 92 ezgo marathon
1992 ezgo marathon, FSIP 500amp controller recently upgraded to 48volts. All was well! Installed an HD F&R switch I got from carts unlimited and now I have no motion. Solenoid clicks but no forward or reverse. I installed all cables as they were on the stock F&R switch. I’m stumped!

Did you take one of the battery cables loose before you started, and if so did you reinstall it? Did you clock the cam. If the shaft came out and the cam moved it want run. It's not clocked to the right position.  |

Scrapped the jumper wire and we’re back up and running!

Thanks for the update.
You may or may not use the red jump between the micro switches depending upon the function of ms4. If it is used to reduce reverse speed signal with the stock controller then no jumper is used. If it is used to reduce speed with the Alltrax SR controller and or to activate a reverse beeper then the jumper is used. I hope this helps |

No jumper + 2 wires from the throttle potentiometer connect to reverse ms.
If you want the added function of a reverse beeper a double ms will have to be sourced from the old F&R, Ezgo dealer, or ? |
