Polk Audio db651
Was thinking of adding these to my Yamaha G29 between the seats.
So I was debating just putting them in a small box or just letting them hang in the access panel space. They seem to be a popular marine speaker so does anyone know if they are designed to be enclosed or are they more free air? Thanks! |

Re: Polk Audio db651
Those need some enclosed space behind them to make them operate at optimal level. Great speakers and I have used them on multiple builds.

Agree, they need to be enclosed. Given their range and sensitivity specs, plus are weather resistant, it’s hard to find a better overall speaker for the money.
