Default Installing a volt meter in the dash.

My volt meter has a tiny square with a button for setting up options. I think I just want to drill a hole for the button. Alot of devices require you to use a toothpick or pin to reset/adjust the device.

The question I have is how do you secure the tiny square behind the dash? Glue seems dangerous for fear of getting glue on the button.

Can you post pictures of the device you are asking about?
If wanting to glue with permanent consequences hot glue may be an option? It's only permanent on the most porous material like cloth.

Ok here is a chance for you young people to see why old timers have a hard time finding small object. It's almost like where's Waldo. You do see it, right?

It's in and functioning.
