Re: I think I found me a cart!!!!
Well, since nobody has asked you yet, what is the seller asking for it? Doesn't come with a charger? Is it 36v or 48v? Request more pictures of under the seat and we can better assist you.

I'll also use it in the neighborhood and on skeet shoots. I am going to try to upgrade it to 48v since it needs batteries anyway. That brings up another question. Why can't I just build a new tray to hold 4-12V golf cart batteries? why does everyone do either 8-6's or 6-8's? I know my buddies club car has 4-12volt batteries. |

Re: I think I found me a cart!!!!
You will have less run time with 4-12V batteries vs 8-6V batts, or 6-8V batts. Don't look at buying them at Academy or someplace else, go to one of the local dealers or I can tell you where to go buy them at locally. You will spend approx 600 or more for the batteries, not trying to scare you just telling you as it is.

Re: I think I found me a cart!!!!
funny you mention it wrong way, i just finished looking through your build
I think I'll stop after the 36volt cart with the back seat ...and the new batteries...and the upgrade to 48volt...and the controler and solenoid and silver soldered wires from ScottyB...but then I'm pretty sure I'm done ...except for an upgraded light kit later, and a 12v cigarrette lighter adapter to run the tailgate feeder and spot light...but then I'm seriously done... |
