Bog out after half throttle?
Put a brand new engine is a 98 g16as couple months ago and runs fine at half throttle but when under load and you put it down it bogs out loses power. Engine came with a new carb so I assume it's preset shouldn't need an air screw adjustment? I replaced fuel filter, full of fresh gas and still same thing. I am thinking fuel pump as it's original, I don't have a lot of experience with the pumps, if I tear it down what should I look for? Are they rebuildable or is it better to just order a new pump and put it on if that is the problem?

Is there a good gasket between the carb and airbox? Also make shure the nuts are good and tight.
