Default 2011 Yamaha Drive Electric..Whats your input?

Looking at getting some Yamaha Drives in this year and wondering what everyones take is on them? G22e to Drive? Can you program the computers like on the E-Z-GO RXV? I have the handheld for the danaher controler on RXV, can I just get a different cord to use on the Drive? Thanks for your input!!

Yamaha programming is proprietary, not gonna use anyone elses programmer on it. The programming is also less flexible than curtis. All you get is a grid that allows you to go left-or-right to adjust speed, and up-and-down to adjust regen strength.

If you are gonna spend some bucks on new yamahas, be sure to get the AC electric model, its the best & most powerful in the business right now, and available with 8x 6v batteries. No yamahas are set for speeds above 19 mph.
