Yea definitely not enough room but I was hoping maybe just enough access to get the timing belt in there.

Starting to think I met my match and have to take it to a shop for this part

Turn the cam over so both valves are closed and feed rope down the sparkplug hole until you can't shove any more than rotate the motor over until piston hits rope this will hold motor from turning and you can get a wrench and break the bolt free it shouldn't be that tight

I have done this before by removing the 2 front "engine cradle" mount bolts, driver's side rear shock bottom nut & driver's side rear shackle bolt then jack up driver's side.Be sure to support the engine with a block. This will give you room to use impact wrench & room to slide clutch off & out of the way.

I was looking at those front bolts and wondering if that would work.

Completely forgot you mentioned this in an earlier post. I tried to hold the clutch and use a wrench but just not possible.....will try this route tomorrow as my final attempt

Of course clutch still isn't going to slide out with frame in the way

It's worked for me many times, also you may have to remove the foward driver's side leaf spring bolt to completely free the spring from the frame .

I did adjust all the valves though so at least something has been accomplished

Well I got the bolt out!

however it appears the 3/4 bolt isn't 3/4....looks like the bolt got put in the wrong spot so off to the store I go to swap it

Having a hell of a time getting the clutch to pop off. Going to try the grease method bc the rod isn't working for me. Even with the rope in there, it spun

Going to try a slightly thicker piece of rope as well
