![]() I have a 92 Marathon with 4 inch lift kit. Time to buy wheels and tires. Most MFgs suggest 22 tires with 4 inches of lift but it seems like plenty of clearance for 23s. Any thoughts or expereince here? This cart will be used offroad on ranch roads.

![]() You would have to move the front wheels forward because the 22's on my 88 marathon barely cleared.

![]() OK, I will stick with the 22s. After the lift I have about 5 inches of clearance at the worst point with my 18s so with 22s I should have 3 inches of clearance which should be plenty. If its not, i will trim the lip of the fender. I can get another 1.5 inches that way.

![]() The issue will be the frame on turns and the brake peddle kinkage. You need 6 inches of lift for the 23s.

We got an old 88 shop beater w/ a 4" block lift & 22x11-8 on it. Looks like another 1/2" will work all around, but I have to agree with ScottyB on when your suspension is compressed it may rub. |
