Mixing and matching batteries???
The cart I bought last year has Trojan batteries in it, its a 36 volt system. 4 of the batteries are Trojan 105's the other 2 are trojans T-105 ( which are deep cycle batteries). Is it a good thing to mix Deep cycle with regular batteries??

they should be the same. I know when i order batteries some just same 105 adn than some say t-105. I asked my distributer and he told me thats just what Torjan sends them adn they are teh same, but i always keep the together t-105 and 105, i have not mixed them.

Re: Mixing and matching batteries???
The 105 don't say DEEP CYCLE and the T-105 do say DEEP CYCLE. The Deep cycle batteries I have are the #4and #5 batteries.

Re: Mixing and matching batteries???
Ok I lookede at the date on the batteries #1,2,3 are 6 thinking "2006" and the #4,5,6 are 7 thinking "2007 . Now the 2 that are marked Deep cycle are the 7 marked on the nev side

Re: Mixing and matching batteries???
They should have a letter and number, like L7. This is the month and year.
A ='s January B = Feb. C = March D = April E = May F = June and so on ! |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- More important to look at the date stamp on the negative post(s)... I WAS JUST ASKED FOR THE YEAR NOT THE MONTH AND NOW WHAT WOULD THE MONTH HAVE TO DO WITH MY ORIGINAL QUESTION?? Re: Mixing and matching batteries???
So what is the question? All 6 are Trojan T-105. Only thing I can pick up from all your post is some are manufactured at a latter date. But the fact is they are all Trojan T-105's. Trojan does not make any T-105's in a Cranking battery, they are all Deep Cycle GC batteries.

Re: Mixing and matching batteries???
Well only the 2 that are T-105 say Deep cycle on them. So how am I to know or guess that the other 4 batteries are Deep cycle WHEN ITS NOT PRINTED, STAMPED, OR ENGRAVED ON THE BATTERY SAYING THAT THEY ARE DEEP CYCLE? And why is it that Trojan didn't put the Deep cycle on the same year battery?
