Default Heater

I have a old 12 volt heater for a golf cart.
I hooked it up to a battey and it pull a lot of power from it.
Does any one have any ideals on how it would work on a gas cart?
Would it pull the battey down when running the moter?

I have run a stereo on my gas powered cart for a couple hours & it still starts fine. Seems like it should be fine while the cart is running & for short stops.

If you know the wattage of the heater devide by 12 volts. The result is the amperage the heater will draw. You will have to size the fuse and the wire accordingly.

Don't forget to allow a few amps for overhead ;)

Bud Light,

Are you running a car battery or a deep cell? I would use a deep cell if i had a heater in it. They can handle the draw a little better than a car starting battery. Just my .02!

Car battery. I hope the gen. will run it ok. Will not leave it on when not runing. Do you think that would work?

Thanks for your input
