2008 pds motor hot, won't go far
I have a 2008 with new batteries and all was working great, now I only go about 1 mile or so and cart starts to slow down and battery meter shows that charge is dropping fast, I get back home and take a voltage reading and still have 36 plus volts and the motor is really hot and cart will just barely move. Please help

Re: 2008 pds motor hot, won't go far
Welcome to BGW!
Please describe what your specific cart is doing, or not doing. What is the battery pack voltage and individual battery voltages after resting about 12 hours after the charger shuts off automatically? Should be 38.2V for the pack and 6.37V for each battery, and all of them should be within 0.1V of the others. What is the battery pack voltage and individual battery voltages when the cart is misbehaving? Are any of the high current cables and/or connections getting hot? |
