Default G9 replacement fuel pump design problem

I ordered a new fuel pump and got my cart up and running; however, the pump I received is not as tailored for the g9 as the stock (naturally). So I only have one screw holding it on. Will this be ok or should I find a better solution. The valve on my stock pump that connects gas tank line was also bigger than the new one, giving me issues with connecting.
