can'y find ID tag
The only numbers I canfind are EZgo Textron 26568-g01 on the dash

Glad to see you made it!!! Well that looks like an ID # and the year of the cart is in the manufacture code#? I could be wrong .... where is this tag? In the glove box or below the glove box? Can you post a pic of the cart? MAybe it is a 68? Is it all metal?

I know the wiring is bad and changed. it is 36 volts and has six 6 volt batteries. Key switch only has one wire on it the other is broken off and put somewhere else or gone.

last year. I picked it up last weekend to try to fix it for a friend. I don't know much about it's past.

lenny did you say if it was a metal or plastic body?
The arrangement of the Manufactures Code begins with a letter and the last 2 digits are the year. Example: J0185 is a 1985. From 'what year is my ezgo?' http://www.golfcartsplus.com/item490.htm There are wiring diagrams at the top of this section. Can you find one that matches your cart? |
