Default 2013 precedent will only run 10 mph after mcor replacement

Cart was surging at full throttle.... replaced the MCOR. Now the surge is gone but now cart will only run 10mph. The batteries are about 4 years old and checked good all were around 8.3 to 8.5 volts. Any ideas would be appreciated. Cart was running 23 mph a month ago....

Perhaps you got a bad MCOR. But let me ask, A precedent will only do 19.5 mph. What is modified on your cart that allowed you to go 23 mph. It might help answer the question.

It sure sounds like you are in Limp Mode. Manually push the cart forward and backwards and see if you get resistance and beeping. If not, your speed sensor failed. If it does work correctly, then test your values of the MCOR and see if it is faulty. Hopefully that is not a Amazon/Ebay Chinese clone as they are mostly bad out the box.

23 inch tires and speed code 4. Used an app on my phone I'm not 💯 of the accuracy.

I'll check it out tomorrow. I did get it off eBay but it is the one made in Mexico or that's at least what the label on the mcor says.
