G9 and G16 marriage
I recently bought a G 9 gas cart with front end damage and a electric g 16 with no rear axle.I was wondering if I cut the mounting brackets off the 9 and weld them to the 16 will this work to change it over to gas?I havent taken any measurements yet but thought I would ask if it has been done before?

Re: G9 and G16 marriage
The good thing is with the tubular frames it's hard to mess the alignments up. Stretch it while you're at it..........

Re: G9 and G16 marriage
Is a G16 axle wider (backing plate to backing plate) than a G9 rear axle? Cause a 16 is wider than a 9 by 4".

Re: G9 and G16 marriage
I may get blown out of the water here, But I believe the 16 is a better car. But it may come down to which ever car is in better shape.

Re: G9 and G16 marriage
What kind of front end damage? I've heard people say that the G9 and G16 have the same front end suspension parts. I'd personally put the rear swing arm from the G9 on the G16.
