Default Yamaha G2 throttle question

I am in the process of converting a 1987 Yamaha G2 E from resistor coil to solid state. I've been looking into goin with an Ezgo system with a PB-6 pot box with a Curtis controller 275 amp. I was wondering if this system will work with the stock motor, f/r switch and solenoid. Also, I was wondering what is the best way to hook up the pot box to the accelerator pedal linkage. I am familiar with this Ezgo system beings I have an Ezgo marathon that I converted from resistor to solid state. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I agree, would be better posted in the Yamaha electric section, but YES the Curtis controller and PB-6 potbox would work great in your G2e. I've done several. Wont be a speed deamon, but very smooth and relaiable and quite easy to install. Good luck
