Slow Yamaha Turfjoy
I have a Yamaha Turfjoy 5 seater it takes off well but doesn't peak out to it's top speed it just started doing it part way through a golf round.. I ajusted the govenor spring and that changed nothing.
Could it be running lean and my other question is how loose should the drive belt be and can it be adjusted? Thanks Mick. |

Re: Slow Yamaha Turfjoy
I believe it's got a G16 engine. Read whatever has been written about G16s.
Since it is a 5-seater, the gear ratio could be like 15 to 1 vs standard golfcarts with 13 to 1 ratio. If you want to run it faster, change the diff gears . This is a Japanese issue cart. |
