![]() There is only two things that will make your cart go into limp mode. A bad speed sensor or a stuck solenoid. Try tapping the solenoid the next time it happens. Or maybe it is staying activated for some reason and toggling the run/tow switch kills power to it.

![]() Thanks Walter. I tried the tapping and i didn't really see a difference. I also clipped my meter onto solenoid and watched it during operation. As it clicks in and out voltage changes from full voltage to 0 as pedal is pressed. Activation circuit shows full voltage and drops off to almost zero when deactivated. It seems correct, but I may change it just to make sure. I'm going to call revolution carts today and get one coming this way.

![]() I talked to Revolution Carts today and they said my problem may be the pre-charge resistor that I upgraded with my heavy duty solenoid. I kept my stock controller, so I should have kept a 250 ohm resistor and not changed it to the 470 ohm. I ordered a new one. I'll update when I try it out.

![]() ?? David is the man but I thought 48v carts used a 470 ohm resistor.

![]() I finally had the time to change out the 400 amp solenoid on my cart. After solenoid replacement, i have NOT had any more limp mode issues. I never had the codes read, but I can only assume it was a "main welded" causing the intermittent half speed issues.
