Default Elec. ezgo F/R ign. switch problem

Elec. Ezgo with F/R on ign. switch. The reverse buzzer goes off in any position except off, and cart will not move.

Over 70 views not one reply... well it turned out to be the switch at the pedal under the floormat. it was covered with dirt and debris which was causing it to stick and not reset.

I didn't reply because I thought it was a RXV and I don't know much about AC drives.

Including the year, body style and drive type along with symptoms of problem usually gets better resultants.

Hey JohnnyB, You may be right. (2012 RXV) but the original post was from June. I just thought with all the tech"s on here and the fact the pedal area collects so much debris would be a common problem. I figured it out before I ordered a new ign. switch. which I thought may have been the problem. I thought I would post what the remedy was for others who have the same problem and find this thread.
