I wound up getting a large battery switch at pep boys that comes with two red keys. Insert key, turn 180 degrees and boom you have power. Had brass lugs to attach the power lines to. I hooked the power line directly to the battery. It works like a champ.
Hopefully our discussion will help others in the future. Thanks again for everyone’s feedback and expertise. I’m sure I’ll be back when my alltrax controller and new solenoid show. This will be the third cart I’ve done and I never can remember which way that darn band I supposed to face on the diode. Until then, thanks again. John |

Battery cut off switch you got will handle any amperage a convertor will throw at it. Use one as battery disconnect on my street/race car.
