Re: Substantial lean to drivers side
Just took a closer look at the picture attached to Post#1.
Looks like the rubber bushing on the tire side of the driver side spring is missing. ---------------- Also, has anyone tried adding spacers between springs and axle to level cart side to side? |

I am not sure that I know where to add the spacers. Is it on the front springs? a picture would be helpful if you got one. |

2. I've never done it or saw it done, I was asking if anyone had. The spring bracket is on the bottom of the rear axle shaft housing and has a flat face that rides on the leaf spring assembly. A spacer might be added between the two, but would like need longer U-bolts. The front springs have flat mounts on both frame and axle ends, so spacers might be added and the springs are held on with bolts, so longer bolts should be much of an issue, but the carts tracking is adjusted by the front springs and that would come into play. Like I said, I was just wondering what could be done with spacers for leveling cart. |

Re: Substantial lean to drivers side
You could similar to what we used to do to hot rods in the 70’s to raise car for larger tires.
Make/add a slightly longer “shackle” to the left rear spring. The two flat pieces of metal the bolt to the rear of leaf spring where you bushing is bad and other end connects frame. Just make 2 that are longer to make up the difference in ride height in the rear. Doing this will not raise front which you don’t need to do since you only need to raise rear where you added the wheight . It also will not effect how the cart rides. Easy mod with some flat stock metal and basic hand tools. What I would do if having this issue. Just an idea😊 |
