EZGO 36 volt series jerky or no go
I have a 96 EZGO 36 volt series cart. Batteries measure 38.1 12 hours after charger kicks off. There are no loose or corroded wires and all of the lugs in the FNR are flush/not sunken.
Problem is in forward when you go to take off it’s jerky like the motor is getting intermittent power. Once moving it seems to operate ok. In reverse it’s worse, sometimes not going at all upon pedal being pressed. Then after a few seconds (without doing anything else) it takes off suddenly. I have checked voltage at ITS and it’s within spec. Anyone have any suggestions? |

What is the battery pack voltage when this is happening? Fluctuating?
Is the solenoid clicking when this is happening? |

Re: EZGO 36 volt series jerky or no go
Solenoid clicks every time the pedal is depressed.
Pack voltage, measured from pack + to pack - , stays the same until the motor actually starts turning, then it drops a volt or two depending on how far the pedal is pressed. |
